Guest guest
All one needs is warm water and salt. Destilled salt and seasalt preferred... I would prefer that over any Eo's when it comes to nasal sprays. Inhaling steam made with yarrow also is beneficial. C-M
Guest guest
How much salt to how much water do you recommend and also what EO's could be added to this in minute amounts to help breathing, if any can be added at all. Thank you Vicki Christa Maria <cmaria wrote: All one needs is warm water and salt. Destilled salt and seasalt preferred... I would prefer that over any Eo's when it comes to nasal sprays. Guest guest
For a nasal spray, I use 1 tsp of salt to 1 oz of warm water. I would not recommend an EO in an nasal spray, but depending on why you have breathing problems, might add a drop euca, mint , thyme, amni vis. hyssop, frankincense in a bowl of hot water to have a steam bath or diffuse in your room... The herb thyme works great, too..., but for head congestion, I like the yarrow steam best. For coughs it's important to have an expectorant, mullein tea with honey is good for that, if severe, boneset can bring up a deep cough. At least those things have worked for me.
