Thanks for posting that Christine!

I recently bought " Healing Wise " and read

exactly those words.

They moved me almost to tears.

I loved the passages about the heroic tradition.

I know several people who are always cleansing

from one thing or another. No matter how

organic you are, its never quite pure enough.

We are pretty health conscious at home, but I do

believe that moderation can be overdone, and

there are times when ice cream is medicine.

As an astrologer I believe that health and well-being

may have its own rhythms like the seasons.

The tide is not always in.

A human being is not always bursting with

vitality and enthousiasm.

We can certainly raise our baseline by living

well, but it is quite possible that Soul may

have another agenda.

Anyway, I would like to propose the dandelion

index as an indication of the sanity of a civilization.

A sane society would honor the dandelion.

And chickweed etc.

We have along way to go.
