I agree with you whole-heartedly! And I did forget that .5! LOL

Actually, I wasn't taking the age into consideration as much as I

should have.

 

That is exactly the saying I would use also. I have found that you

can't make 'em drink always either (sometimes heart-breakingly so).

 

Lots and lots of good sound input from you and others here.

 

I'm hoping to be just like my Momma, who never had any signs of peri,

never a hot flash or a sweat! One day there just wasn't a period

anymore and that was that. Then again, she had 13 pregnancies and 11

children, so I can't hope to be exactly the same! I'm stopping at 2

(would like another, but is 40 too old? She had her last at 44!)

heck no! 40's not too old. MOre and more women are having children way into

thier forties. I had one at 40 and another at 44. I'm not saying it's for

everyone one though. But it ain't too old if you really want another.

Hi Andrea, and thanks for your note.

 

Chances are you'll be very much like your mom -- sans the number of

children. WOW! We do tend to have a transition much like our mother

did, although one never knows for sure. So much depends on

lifestyle, stress, etc.

 

I had my one and only child at almost 40. A wonderful pregnancy and

delivery and an incredible son about to turn 10.
