Guest guest
Hey Frank, > Hi Butch, > I was always called Butch while being a young child. Good show .. nice nickname it is .. though many folks forget it .. get it confused with Chuck and Bruce. I keep telling them that Chuck was an ex-baseball player who could cock a 30-30 rifle with one flip of his wrist and shoot the left eye out of a fly at 200 yards .. and Bruce was a Chinese feller who could kick 237 Ninja butts in five minutes and have all his clothes torn off and still look like he was ready for 237 more. The origin of " Butch " is OLD English .. meant Pugilist .. or boxer. And from it sprang " Pug " as in pug ugly .. which most boxers were after their noses were broken a few times .. and that's where we get the term " Pug Nose " . When my Pappy came into the hospital and saw me I was punching the air so he decided to call me Butch .. and throughout school I was Butch to all the teachers except them whut didn't like me .. and through 30 years of military service .. even the generals called me Butch. Of course .. today " Butch " and " Gay " have different meanings .. language being a reflection of culture and such. But I was Butch afore the other folks were Butch and I'm still Gay when I have a few drinks with friends and laugh at their jokes and such. And now you know more about Butch than you wanted to know. > I lost the URL Link to the information about GY/YL with all the history > and trials and errors and the RDT info.... > Please post it again.
