Guest guest
I still have access to YL pages as a previous distributor and in their virtual log in access - they list a link that refutes the quackwatch site....It's a pdf file and is 18 page...and while most of it of course is complimentary to GY and YL - I did find the info on Dr. Barret and the other guy on his site very disconcerting - they sound worse than GY! Trying to be objective here on both sides....since I'm kinda in the 'middle' of the oil thing with my mom who is deeply into YL and her 'better than mine' oils....so if anyone has any clarification on this paper that YL wrote, would appreciate it. If this is OT - personal replies are appreciated too. http://enews.essentialscience.net/welcome.exm Blessings, Pam TLC Naturally - Pure Essential Oils & Soaps http://www.tlcnaturally.com E Web Express - Design & Hosting Service http://www.ewebexpress.com

That guy (Barret) being awarded or praised for his viewpoints on health issues? I mean the guy is a psychiatrist --not a medical doctor. I took everything that I read there and threw it out the window... I don't trust anything that a psychiatrist has to say. Psychiatrists push pills... dangerous pills/medications made from petro-chemicals.... what good would he possibly have to say about vitamins... it most certainly does sound like the backing of special interests. This guy attacks many of the basics by which I live my life. What would make me take his word about anything else? I didn't like what I read about the DDS that partners with him regarding his stance on " mercury fillings are not bad for you " . Sorry... I'm married to a DDS... he and I have both done the research on this one and there are **no** silver fillings placed in his office. We have never trusted the ADA either... full of ________, they are. Okay, Quackwatch bashes YL/GY and YL/GY bashes Quackwatch. Do I know if any of the statements on either side are true? Nope. But I did read quite a few things on the Quackwatch site that are disconcerting to me. I don't trust them at all. I do not have any researched data about YL or GY. I still have nothing to add to this debate other than I will never use undiluted oils on myself or family and that I do not understand why some are willing to take what Steven Barret has stated on his web site as " the truth " . What happened to research instead of just trusting someone's heresay?
