Barb,

Oatmeal cookies are my favorite too but Splenda is not something you want

to put into your body. No artificial sweetener is without serious side

effects.

Not sure where and when sugar got a bad rap, but these artificial

poisons are

something I would never put into anyone I loved...

My daughter is diabetic and of course they want her to ingest everything and

anything with NutraSweet, Splenda, etc. So I did the research. She now

sweetens and cooks with Stevia...an all natural herbal sweetener.

Just adding my 2-healthy-cents in this morning.

Hi,

Has anyone tried Whey-Low? It is safe for diabetics and a natural

product. You can google it and find the website.

It looks and taste like sugar.

Warmly,

Bobbye

Personally, the only way I can handle oatmeal is oatmeal cookies (made with

artificial sweetener such as Splenda), made with dates and/or raisins. I

absolutely hate mushy oatmeal.

Barb, have you tried Scottish oats?

They are cut, not rolled, and are slighly gritty

instead of mushy. They can be made into

pancakes, muffins or waffles too.

Look for Bob's Red Mill, in health food stores.
