Hi everyone,

I picked up two magazines today with articles some

of you might be interested in. The first is the Winter

issue of Herb Quarterly, which has an article called

" Sandalwood for the Spirit " , as well as an article on

Osha. (I've been nuts for the latter lately.) Those of

you with clear views on the issue might want to

consider looking at the blurb on " Sandalwood

Sustainability " , then sending a letter to the editor.

The next article is the cover story for the

November-December issue of American Scientist. The

byline reads " Plant Scents- What we perceive as a

fragrant perfume is actually a sophisticated tool used

by plants to entice pollinators, discourage microbes

and fend off predators " . This one actually looks like

a great read for all of us, but especially for any AT

students and/or newbies. :-)
