But I threw it away immediately because it freaked me out. I thought it might be lye-heavy or some weird reaction took place and wasn't safe. Now, I wish I had saved it, of course. Lesson learned! Guest guest Posted November 28, 2004 Report Share Posted November 28, 2004 After thinking about your previous post, along with the lye water you may have mixed at a too high a temp.
