Guest guest
I agree with this 100%. I was burned on my hand one day while preparing for an open house and I had no time to waste succumbing to the painful burn. I happened to have lavender sitting on the counter and applied it immediately (neat). The burning stopped almost immediately and absolutely no blister to my utter amazement!! I keep a little bottle hand just for this purpose since . . .. -Helen ____________ As for Lavender .. ALL Lavandula angustifolia .. be it French, Bulgarian or English .. and ALSO Turkish Lavender (Lavandula stoechas) if applied immediately following a burn .. will stop the pain IMMEDIATELY and the burn will heal much faster .. normally with no scarring .. unless it is a bad burn .. and even then it will reduce scarring. > I have heard some say that after a burn, they applied Lavender straight > to the wound. I would not recommend this but they say it works. I do recommend it to those who are dear to me .. every time. ;-) I and many other folks I know have avoided mucho immediate pain and follow on discomfort by immediately applying NEAT Lavender to a burn. Guest guest
ok I have a ? My mom told me when I burn myself to put mustard on it. Since then whenever I get a burn I go to the fridge and put some regular mustard on the burn and let it sit for 5 min or so. No blister, and pain is gone. So does Lavender and Mustard work the same way? or has anyone but me ever heard of this. I do it simply because its cold and feels good and doesn't leave a blister or a scar. Thanks sindy - Lavender Neat for Burns ** I agree with this 100%. I was burned on my hand one day while preparing for an open house and I had no time to waste succumbing to the painful burn.
