Guest guest
Hey C-M, > Hmm, how many pounds of orange peels would that take? Two pounds and 14 ounces per 100 pounds of body weight per month. ;-) > Also, I think they refer to the inside rind, the white stuff, long been > proven as an antioxidant and the flavanoids do a great job opening > capillaries. Maybe .. I'm not sure. > I would be leery to eat the outside rind, it's chockfull of chemicals, > pesticides, herbicides, waxes. I am not concerned about that as I wash the outside and if those bad things don't come out in the wash then odds are they might have been able to penetrate the outer skin and get into the inner rind .. maybe. > I don't even use the grated rind for baking, just from certified > organic citrus. Afore I went on my diet I was eating a lot of pastries that had grated citrus rinds on them .. as we have no Certified Citrus here so my only choice was eat or not eat. When I get my weight stabilized I will again choose to eat them .. just not as much as I used to eat. ;-) > C-M Y'all keep smiling. :-) Butch http://www.AV-AT.com
