Guest guest
Sorry bout the sudden leaving you with a question you needed answered in the chat room, got kicked out...then son had to use the puter. To answer your question. No you don't need to buy a mold for your first batch or 5<G>. Depending on the size of batch, if it is say a 1 lb. batch use a qt wax coated carton, like a oj or milk carton. Ruffly one lb.(of oils measured) is for this purpose = to a qt. Or, you can use a wax paper lined shoe box, or a rubbermaid silverware container, even though the sides may be slightly slanted. You can see how you like soapmaking before you choose the mold you would like to use. However, I will warn you, it can, and probably will become an addiction. In that case, I would say welcome to SAA (Soapaholics Anonymous)! If you have anymore questions, don't hesitate to ask. Anita
