My name is Ien, with an eye, not an el. It's pronounced to rime with green and it's short for Ieneke. I am originally Dutch. Just so I don't get mistaken for a guy named Len or Ian. Natural healing and Mother Earth are the twin passions of my life. I have a small Reflexology and Reiki practice, and love to mess about with herbs, both local and exotic. The big Gift of my life, apart from my 2 beautiful grown kids, is the place where we live. 10 acres in the Kootenays, B.C. Oils I am just starting to learn about. I am looking forward to being shown around on that topic. I am originaly from BC (Okanagan, Vancouver and Vancouver Island) and now live near Montreal. I am an organic food nut and love everything about alternative medicine, essential oils, herbs, soapmaking and crafts. I just closed my scrapbooking store and am now taking more time for my self and my family. (2 kids Wolfgang age 9 and Aïsha age 2, also my hubby Donald). I am currently looking into different Certified Aromatherapist courses and deciding which one to take in the new year. There are some very good schools in BC. Nice to meet you.
