Guest guest
Well heck!! [and I am being polite here] Just had my sister visit, was greeted with " hey you look great [weight loss] but I have never seen you look so haggard " !!! Well OK I am 65 but since I moved to Alabama from California I can't seem to get rid of these big bags under my eyes and blotchy skin Help please! I know one of you amazing ladies has the perfect solution somewhere. I go back to San Diego for Xmas and would love to look a bit better. I reckon the bags are either from allergies [hate those blooming peanuts] or a daughter who is driving me insane at the moment. Campared to the posts we get asking for real help I know that this is purely cosmetic, but all the worry I have been going through lately with my daughter's severe depression has left me so down I would love a boost from you all. Sorry if this post isn't cut and pasted right, I am posting from , since I am out of town on my dad's computer. ANYHOO!.... To help with the actual puffiness under your eyes, look to your medicine cabinet! Find a tube of cream or gel Preparation H. Yes, I do what it's REALLY used for....but it will also shrink the swelling under your eyes. Be careful, and don't get into your eyes.... Just dab a bit there, and let it work. It won't work indefinitely, but it will work for a while, and you can reapply when needed. If you believe that it's mostly allergy related, then you can use an over the counter antihistimine...and it should help a bit. Other than that, I will have to wait until I am home to see which herb or EO might help otherwise. I have been using some Cucumber and Cornflower extract that I purchased from www.thesynergy.com I think that's the website....Sheila is great! Fast and courteous service, and her products are great as well! That's helped my skin tone and color quite a bit. I've also heard that Marge's <SP?> Helichrysum Hydrosol does wonders for rosacia, so I would think that it would just help with skin coloring as well. Should even out the skin tone. This is all I can think off off the top of my head. Let me know if it works for you! And have fun when you head off to sunny California! Guest guest
Patricia, Soak some tea bags in distilled water, squeeze out excess water and put the tea bags over the puffed area. Been doing this for years and it always works for me. Guest guest
Here's my quick fix: Instant Face/Body/Mind Lift! Good for anxiety, blotchy skin, spots, saggy skin, flaky patches, brings a healthy color back to the face and body. Use 6 drops geranium essential oil in your bath. Put 30 drops in 2 tablespoons light oil for your face and body. You will see/feel an improvement after just one bath. Do your bath with the e.o., then rub some of the oil mixuture all over your body and face and then do a little stretching. You will look and feel much better. You can do this treatment for as many days as you wish and your appearance will improve. Guest guest
Hi Patricia, It sounds to me as if you have been through the mill lately, and of course that will not help with looking under the weather. I think rosehip oil is just marvellous for tired facial skin,BUT I think the best thing you can do at the moment, is something special just for yourself. Perhaps a luxurious bath with your favourite oils, music and rose petals and no interuptions. A lovely meal, whatever, but something that is important just to you. There is nothing like a little pampering to make you look younger. Oh, and of course, make sure you are drinking lots of water. ( Sounds like my mother speaking!) Well done on losing weight. All the best. Jeanine Message: 6 Thu, 25 Nov 2004 15:34:33 -0000 " britplum " <plaurie Help with my face please
