Guest guest
I'm sorry Imissed all the other posts but a few on the last digest got me thinking again... I just went to visit my mom in KC this past week (that's why I didn't get around to reading all the other digests that came in so sorry if this is a repeat) and she is deeply....and I mean DEEPLY into YL ... how they SMELL better than mine (and actually...they do - wish I had an answer for that one!) work better than mine (they don't) and how wonderful they are. She is so brainwashed (and deep in oils) that I don't see anyway that she can get out. But anyway, I went with her to this seminar that they had in KC on the new products they got out - a repeat thing on the wolfberry juice and its wonders for you (can NOT justify $40 a liter!) and of course had 'specials' that you could only order at that price right now! and then the wonder drug came out... it's called A.R.T. and is supposed to repair and replace any skin damaged by combining DNA recovery enzymes along with other stuff...of course, the the hype at the meeting said a LOT more than what they have on their website, they actually said that and showed a video that it would remove the damaged DNA and replace it with new DNA - ... right..... stands to reason (at least to me) that if this was true...then ALL OF SCIENCE and DRUG companies would be all over this miracle! I sat there and just shook my head at the gullibility of these women (well mostly women) that were so willing to offer their hard earned $'s in the hopes of getting a miracle and cashing in on the bs end... I do find it interesting that I just ordered a Thieves blend from essentialoils.org and it smells exactly like the thieves of YL - but even that....my mom said wasn't as good...oh well....as for me and my house ;-) ... we'll stick with common sense and Butch :-) Blessings, Pam TLC Naturally - Pure Essential Oils & Soaps http://www.tlcnaturally.com E Web Express - Design & Hosting Service http://www.ewebexpress.com
Guest guest
Unfortunately, people can believe something so deeply that it is actually their own believe that is healing them to which they believe it is the oil working. I guess that's why there's people on ebay bidding thousands of dollars on a 10-year old grilled cheese sandwich they say they can see the Virgin Mary in when in fact, it looks more like Latoya Jackson to me. Belief can be a power and at the same time, a dangerous thing. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?
