Guest guest
Hmmm. The toenails on both my little toes have thickened & almost seem to crumble when I trim them. They are more of a solid color than my other toenails also. I'm putting Vick's on them to see if it helps any with the new growth. Anyone know if this sounds like toenail fungus? Guest guest
a darker color or a yellowish color ? ? If your answer is yes, I'd say it sounds like it. Use the Vicks twice a day (I put it on in the morning and at bed time) and you should start to see a difference in about a week or 2. Guest guest
Your fungus sounds just like mine. Have you ever tried using oil of oregano. Apply the oil directly to the nail and nail bed in large amounts. Also, gently rub it between the toes. Take several drops of oil in juice, milk or water twice daily or fill a small gelatin capsule with the oil and take one or two daily with meals. ( I just purchase the oregano capsules in the drug store or GNC) Do not expect results overnight. For the best results also the oil internally like 2 - 5 drops under the tongue twice daily. Guest guest
Just a quick note - if folks are using the " Oil Of Oregano " bought at the grocery from North American Herb and Spice Co .. or a similar product, it is oregano oil diluted in olive oil - if you get undiluted oregano oil - you MUST dilute it well before you apply it to skin - or you'll be sorry ;-p *Smile* Chris (list mom and oregano oil purveyor) NEW - Lovely Perfume Bottles & Aromatherapy Pendants NEW - Red Salt Glow Scrub & Coffee Scrubs - Wrapped For Giving! http://www.alittleolfactory.com Pam [usmawife] Your fungus sounds just like mine. Guest guest
Sorry I was copying the information out of the book, the Cure is in the Cupboard and forgot about its strength. I use the pure Oregano oil and mix it with olive oil for my toe rub. I did not get mine from NA Herb but another company that had a label on it, dilute or but in the gelatin tablets like I mentioned but do not take it straight. Sorry for not saying that. My hands were typing faster than what I actually do. Pam
