Guest guest
Yep, that's what I did too - downloaded and printed hundreds of recipes off the internet - and use one or two recipes only LOL.... and I only use a 4 cup glass measuring cup, and a stainless steel pot and my wooden spoons .. and I LOVE my stick blender!! I've not made a whole lot of soap, actually...only 2 batches of cp and a batch of m & p - this last batch I added grated lemon peels and peppermint oil, lavendar and cinnamon ... smells YUMMY!!!! just wish it didn't take so long to cure!! so go for it Dale - grab that ole soap by the middle and go for it! and to my surprise...it doesn't even take very long to make it! Guest guest
I just want to warn ya'll about one thing. For awhile (maybe 10-15 batches), a wooden spoon will work. But invest in,or take over from your kitchen utensils,a stainless steel spoon. The wooden ones will eventually splinter or crack due to being used in connection with the lye(guess how I know?). Even a plastic spoon works. I have used one for about 5 years now, soley for my lye water. It is a plastic slotted spoon. I have a stainless steel one (slotted)for the rest of the soap making process. And congrats to those who have joined the Soaper's Anonymous group<G>!! However, it is one habit, I don't intend to break!! Anita in TX
