(Trying to convince myself there's a reason for everything, and an opportunity to learn is just around the corner.) Seriously, it is helping take the " sting " out of this for me. Thank you all, who responded on the list, and private. Seems my suspicions were not too far off the mark, based on your opinions. The timing and my correspondence with her, and her registration date of botanicalaromatics.com are just too coincidental. I realize it could still be completely innocent, and I wouldn't dream of making an out and out accusation until I knew for sure. A couple people suggested I contact her directly. This is an option, but I'd have to be very careful how I tread on those waters. Also, some folks suggested I offer to buy her out, or even pursue legal action. All this would involve contacting her, of course. And I can't actually prove she stole it. No, I don't have the e-mails from back then, it was close to a year ago. And I would never offer a buy-out, simply because I wouldn't want her to benefit financially. I will most likely need to alter the Domain name somewhat to something like botanical-aromatics.com. Others were suggested like .biz or .net and many others. Question...how much do these domain names cost?? Is there a standard pricing? I did notice hers expires one year from the date it was issued, and she still has not set up a web site under that URL. Her website still looks the same, it's under the same name as before, shopping cart is still " under construction " , as it was when I first started corresponding with her. It was difficult for me, at first, to believe she would do something like this, because according to her website under the company info link, she says hers is a.... well.... " Christian-based " company. So, you know, you figure she's got some integrity, right? Thank you, I appreciate the discussion, it has helped me tremendously!
