We agreed not to exchange gifts this year. WELL.... My folks moved to a new place a few weeks ago. So I sent them flowers as a housewarming gift. A great big basket of flowers. They arrived today for some odd reason. I got a call from my mother. She called me decietful, underhanded, duplicitous and sneaky. I told her I had no idea WHAT she was talking about. I said if the flowers had been addressed just to HER then perhaps. Wasn't MY fault they were delivered TODAY! Wasn't MY fault that they were a lot of her favourites. No where on the card did it say ANYTHING about " birthday " Just congratulations on their new home. Now honestly... jury of my peers... do ANY of you think that there could be any doubt that it was just coincidence that they happened to get there today?
