PS: Forgot something .. the Governor said that George W. Bush would be

the President of the Republic of Texas .. but I forgot to mention that

Willie Nelson is gonna be Vice President, Charlie Daniels will be the

Secretary of Defense, David Allen Coe will be Secretary of State. ;-)

And the Dixie Chicks will be burned at the stake??????

Hugs

Hi Rhavda,

Third try .. is bouncing me 3-4 times a day now. ;-)

> Dear Butch,

> As a Texan I have enjoyed your letter from our governor, Mr. Rick Perry,

> to all to get out and VOTE TODAY!

Glad I am .. hope folks do get out and do same.

> I already have been to the polls and cast my vote early this morning. My

Good show .. both of you feel better now .. I am sure. :-p

Yep .. that they should. And I believe this will be a banner year for

the number of voters. I just hope there is a decisive victory .. sure

would be nice to be able to avoid all the hassle of having the courts or

the Congress determine who the next president will be.

> Butch, I would love to have you move here and become a part of our great

> state.

Thankee ma'am. :-) Texas and Texicans have always been dear to me. As

a lover of American history I know that Texas .. and the Kentucky-Ohio

area are probably the bloodiest grounds in America. Every square yard

was fed by the blood of settlers who just wouldn't let go .. a very

proud history awaits those who want to read on the subject.

I was stationed at Ft. Bliss (in El Paso) twice and liked it a lot. And

as I wrote a month or so back .. during this last trip I almost bought a

retirement home in Willis, north of Houston .. on Lake Arrowhead. Well

it might be that Texas is the place I decide to hang my hat.

Thankee mucho .. and y'all keep smiling. :-) Butch

>>Butch Owen has told me he is looking for a place to retire. Being as he

>>is a Good Ol Flag Waving, Hell Raising, Gun Totin', Patriotic Suthran

>>Boy to begin with, I have invited him down to Texas. He tells me he is

>>starting to pack now cause he has a feeling that Americans are about to

>>make the biggest mistake they have made since they pulled out of 'Nam.

>>

>>We Texans love y'all .. love most honest folks, but we'll have to take

>>action if Kerry wins over Bush today. We'll miss you too. Texas has

>>given all those complainers plenty of time to get used to the results of

>>the last election. After seeing the whiners along the campaign route,

>>lots of the folks in Texas have contacted me and I am now considering

>>taking action on their requests before they start taking matters into

>>their own hands. I am a politician and must serve my people.

>>

>>Here is what will happen:

>>

>>#1: If John Kerry becomes President of the United States of America,

>>Texas will immediately secede from the Union.
