Guest guest
I have a friend in the Luton area who broke her arm and I recommended comfrey tea. No such thing to be found in healthfoodstore, she said... and she does not know anyone who grows it... Does it have a different name by any chance over there ? Guest guest
Hi - it's probably too late but seems like you didn't get any replies to this. As far as I know here in the UK we call it Comfrey. I can't say I've seen the tea either but she should be able to buy loose dried comfrey leaves and make her own infusions. We most commonly use (in my opinion but then I'm an aromatherapist) the herbal infused oil applied to the skin. I have it in 50ml and 100ml bottles at £2.99 and £5.49 respectively. Otherwise, one of the wholesalers I sometimes use - Cotswold Health Products Ltd - has 100g boxes of loose comfrey tea (minimum order 10 packs - £8.60 but VAT and postage will be applicable). Contact them on 01453 843694 or email: sales Hope this helps.
