OT: Katz

Hey Andrea,

 

Still not getting messages from this list .. have to read them off the

Message listing on the list ???

Hobbes was a beautiful Tabby Tiger .. caught him at an outdoor fish

restaurant in Suthran Turkey. He kept creeping out from under a boat

and taking tidbits when I dropped them for him. Finally got my hands on

him and took him back to a beach house I was using at the time. He had

all his claws into me during the entire trip.

 

Shadow was a Witch from Hell. Black as night and evil as sin. Saw her

being washed down a gutter during a gully washer and saved her .. which

I often regretted. She was maybe three months old then and was wild as

a banshee. Brought her home and she started hissing at Hobbes .. he

just looked at me like, " why'd you bring that witch here? " After three

or four days they were eating from the same bowl and sleeping together.

Hobbes liked her but he sometimes ignored her and that would upset her

big time. Hobbes was a perfect gentleman. Shadow was a tramp. ;-)

 

Both were very good earthquake predictors .. we have lots of tremors

her. They would be sitting in my lap climbing all over my book when I

was trying to read .. time to time they would fire off like rockets and

run under furniture .. a few seconds later came the tremor.

Yep .. matter of fact.

That they both did .. Shadow more than Hobbes. They would moan and

grouch till I restarted it. When I would get up to do that they would

start running around like squirrels .. which was their normal behavior.

 

Would still have them if I had not planned to return to the USA back in

1995 .. had ticket in hand, household goods shipped, heading to Law

School .. then at the last minute I decided to open a company here.

Neighbors were a young Air Force couple who loved both the katz and

wanted to bring them back to the US .. and that's what happened.
