Is it the same as superfatting? 30%-50%? I've always wondered this.......

My understanding is that with 'strength of lye solution' - the lye solution

(in water) is based on the weight of the lye, not the oil. Since oils

differ in their sap value (and maybe density?), some recipes, depending on

which oils are used, will have a higher proportion of water than others,

chemically speaking. That's my understanding, perhaps someone could explain

it better or more correctly than me ;-)
