It's now been almost 4 years since I

pulled my head out of the sand after only a 3 week exposure. ;o)

Its been longer than that for me but I never got a recipe for Joy. Do you happen

to have one???

Thanks

The YL blend is said to be 10 EOs: rose, bergamot, mandarin, ylang ylang,

lemon, geranium, jasmine, palmarosa, roman chamomile, rosewood.

You might try:

geranium - 1 part

lemon - 1 part

ylang ylang - 2 parts

bergamot - 2 parts

rose - 2 parts of a 10% dilution

mandarin - 1 part

Hi, Neysa.

Here is a recipe I got from a website a while back. Can't remember the address.

The site owner had a number of YL recipes. If I remember correctly (I was in YL

back in 1995 for a short time) Joy was made with much more rose oil, but at that

time it was found that the rose oil (Bulgarian) had been adulterated, so perhaps

that is why there is now a difference in the aroma and the amount used.

Rose Spirit

Compare to Joy

Inspires feelings of self worth, love. Brings joy to the heart. Truly a love

blend. Lifts and brings out of depression. May connect you to happy childhood

memories. Grandma's Rose garden in a bottle. (love)

Bergamot 6

Mandarine, Red 9

Lemon 10

Mandarine, Green 3

Geranium 9

Jasmine 10% 3

Palmarosa 6

Roman Chamomile 3

Rosewood (10)

Rose 2

Ylang Ylang (4)

Hyacinth - dil 3

Lime Petitgrain 3

HTH. (I don't know why or what the parentheses mean)
