Guest guest
I discovered I have several packages of seeds that say they were packed in 1998. I have both German Chamomile(Matricaria recutita) (I live at 8000 ft so don't think it will grow here anyway) and Lavender (Lavandula angustifolia) How long are seeds good for?? Thanks for the info Rita
Guest guest
Rita, I've used seeds that were several years old, and they worked just fine. It depends on how the seeds have been stored......and if they were viable to begin with. The worst thing that can happen, is they won't grow.....so why not give them a try? Guest guest
Hi Candy That was sorta my feeling too, why not! They are in the original package they came in and have been stored somewhere in the back or bottom of something -- who knows. We moved in late Aug and I'm finding all kinds of things!! Rita " C.
