Guest guest
" He finds it very difficult to sleep, as his mind keeps busy going over things all the time. He often gets only a few hours sleep a night " Hi Jeanine Vetiver is known as the oil of tranquility in aromatherapy and I've found it really useful for people who can't switch off on the couch (my massage couch, I mean). For your son, it's a good masculine aroma too - try blending with Sandalwood and if it's too heavy maybe sweeten it with a little mandarin or orange. The strongest sedative, however, is probably Valerian. I don't know if it's appropriate in this case though as it's more of a one-off thing rather than a regular thing - like a sleeping drug almost. I think of it as the equivalent of a sledge-hammer to the back of the head - not always ideal! Also, an Australian Bushflower Remedy called Black Eye Susan is for those of us (myself included) who can't stop working in our heads. It's about finding some internal peace. I've used with some success. Hope it helps. Jane
