Guest guest
hi again Andrea, just checking older emails here. BTW, melanin is the pigment of the skin that makes us dark or light.some have dark parents and family, yet will be much lighter themselves. or the other way around. I work where we have tanning machines, and it saddens me to see people of less melanin color TRYING DESPERATELY to become tan or stay tan...the " tan " is the melanin turning dark by the uv rays..essentially, damaging the skin.thus, light skin trying to be dark, is actually " scarring " the skin.and even if one has a base tan, naturally, they can, and will still burn. as i have aged, I have become much more sensitive to burning. cautious common sense is the key. HTH, hugs, Nessy
