Guest guest Posted October 19, 2004 Report Share Posted October 19, 2004 I recently read on a website that sells DPG to dillute it 1-3 parts DPG to each part fo. So if you are using 1 ounce of fo, you would mix it with 1 to 3 parts DPG. I guess it depends on how strong you want the scent. I've made incense using witch hazel and/or 90% alcohol, but this was a citronella-scented incense to use outdoors. I thought there was some controvery surrounding DPG? I can't remember what it was, something about inhaling it, i imagine, as the incense is burning. Anyway, I've had luck w/the alcohol, so never bothered purchasing any. Hope this helps.
