Guest guest
Can I use Medium Density Polypropylene containers for products with essential oils in them? I know PET is best, but I need something squeezable. Any suggestions? Guest guest
Hi Debbie, I've used high density sqeezable bottles and they've held products made with eo's and no problems. I also use malibu tubes, also high density with eo's and have not had any issues with those either. Any reason your looking at medium density specifically? Cuz you can get a nice sqeezable bottle/tottle with HD. hth, Margaret Natural Indulgences LLC > >Can I use Medium Density Polypropylene containers for products with >essential oils in them? Guest guest
Thanks Margaret! The malibu tubes I was looking at purchasing come in medium density, which is why I was looking at that. I haven't been able to find any nice sqeezable bottles through my current suppliers that are HD. Any suppliers that you really like and find affordable that you'd be willing to share? Guest guest
Of course I'm willing to share! I bought my last batch of malibu's from wholesalesuppliesplus.com I have been happy with their pricing and customer service. I don't usually buy in huge amount like 10,000 pieces like what you'd normally have to get from a manufacturer or large distributor. And...I just found a site that I'd not seen before and looks like she's taken over where stuffjulielikes left off. Has quite a selection of malibus, even PET ones. Pricing seems fair to me, and she offers discounts which is a bonus! soapandthings.com is the addy. Let us know what you think in terms of pricing after you look them over will ya?? Guest guest
And where do we find this stuffjulelikes sort of place???? :-) I got the best services and all from sjl (they even shipped it " my way " ) and have a box full of jars from them, but I need bottles. Hmm, I ran out of the blue ones I got from you honey, well right out of all bottles after making that massageoil for Johns preschool, and have ended up ordering 100 of clear straight 100ml bottles from the Swedsih supllier. Booooooring, but what could I do??? Fragrant Blessings, Ylva
Guest guest
Thanks again, Margaret, this gave me a good start. When I did a search, I found cottonblosomcrafts.com, and I had ordered some wooden soap dishes from here a while back and been very happy with service, quality and price. I thought her malibu tubes were priced right, so I may try these and see how I like the quality. She offers MD, HD and PET.
