Guest guest
Is this rose pure EO? If so, you could make a really nice facial toner from it. Put a few drops and some spring water in a small spray bottle, and shake well before spritzing. It will feel good after cleansing, or any time during the day that your face and feelings could use a pick me up. Of course, you could add Polysorbate-20 to the water in equal amounts with the rose oil to act as an emulsifier, but you don't have to. Rose is a wonderful treatment for every skintype, especially mature skin. You can use it as a lovely moisturizer, too. Mix some up in a carrier oil, add a couple of drops of the mixture to water or a toner that you've sprayed in your palm, rub your hands together, and pat all over your face. If you have other EOs that are good for facial care you can add them to the carrier oil, as well. I usually use about 15 drops total of EOs in an ounce (30 mls) of carrier oils. Jasmine, neroli, rosewood, frankincense, myrrh, carrot seed, seabuckthorn berry, calendula, lavender, chamomile, geranium, helichrysum, sweet orange, eucalyptus...these all make good moisturizing and corrective serums according to your individual skintype and problems. If you're interested, I'd be happy to share some ideas. For instance, I have different formulas that I use for different situations--a vitality serum for when I haven't had a good night's sleep or my face just seems dull, an inflammation serum for breakouts, a rich serum in case of dryness, and so on ) Let me know if I can help! jaime
