Guest guest
Hi guys, I've got 4.5 maybe 5mls of 1997 rose left. I've been advised that I need to use it up before it starts to go " off " . Anyone got any suggestions with what I should do with it? I don't do much aromatherapy stuff anymore, but I could do some blends with it, for what I don't know OR I could make one or two batches of very special candles... >shrug< Anyone else have any ideas? I did think of maybe trying to auction it off on ebay but who would buy it a half used bottle of rose oil. I'm open to suggestions. Cheers! Guest guest
Well, you could make a lovely cream with it, or a whipped cream soap, or a solid perfume, some sachets, special scented papers, ooh - how about rose beads .... I'd never candle it - but that is just me Want me to dig up recipes for some of the above mentioned goodies? *Smile* Chris (list mom) Its The Great Pumpkin Progressive Basket 2 <http://tinyurl.com/669fo> http://tinyurl.com/669fo <http://www.alittleolfactory.com> http://www.alittleolfactory.com Kathleen Petrides [PurrfinickyQueen] Hi guys, I've got 4.5 maybe 5mls of 1997 rose left. Guest guest
Dear Kathleen, Hi there! I am still using rose essential oil from 1989 and it has not gone off yet. Why don't you just keep it for a special moment when you want to please yourself (or someone special)? Rose is such a wonderful scent to have to calm yourself down, work through anger, depression, trauma, and grief. I keep my special rose oil in a box in a cool space and use it when I need it. It appears to be just as good as the day that I received it from Bulgaria and I probably 1/4 oz. of it left. I hope that this helps. If you do want to sell it, please contact me privately. By the way did you receive the email that I sent you about the wooblies from your web site last weekend? If not, I will resend it.
