I noticed on your Links page that you're involved with USNA. Do you have a child

there? My son is at USCGA and has visited Annapolis. He enjoyed it very much,

saying the cadets and the atmosphere there were, " very cool. " ;O)

Dear Jakme,

Yes, my son goes to the USNA at Annapolis. He is a Youngster

(Sophomore) this year. We're very proud of him. He made the Superintendent's

List twice last year for his grades. Congratulations to you on your son too.

May he have always " fair winds and following seas. "

That's wonderful! Our boys sound a lot alike. My son is a sophomore this year,

as well, and like your son he is highly ranked academically (second in his

class). You and I know that is saying a lot, considering that their fellow

cadets are not slouches in that department! The caliber of students at the

academies is astonishing.

 

My cousin is a graduate of Annapolis, too. He was a " top gun " pilot for a number

of years and is now training other pilots at various naval and air force bases

)

 

My boy is a civil engineering major, how about yours?
