I have to sing at a concert on Sunday and my throat is acting up--I

generally have a problem with sinus drainage and it's getting worse.

What's a good tea for me to drink to keep my throat hydrated, stay

clear, and to avoid a sore throat?

Thanks! :)

If you REALLY like garlic, peel a clove and suck on it for an hour every four

hours (discarding the " used " cloves after use). If you don't like the taste of

garlic, use garlic tablets at double dosage.

Hmmm,

Off the top of my head - Chamomile Tea, Linden Blossom Tea, Slippery Elm

Bark Tea, Honey Loquat syrup ... garlic infused honey (if you have any

made up and on hand), no talking, and rest up! ;)

For sinus issues I use Oregano Oil, Garlic, Peppermint Tea ...

Kat,

The drummers and singers at Pow wows chew a piece of Calamus root to

'preserve' their throat.

Honey and lemon and preserving your throat will help.

If you feel you have an infection , gargle with goldenseal and myrrh

and make chicken soup with a drop of oregano oil.
