Guest guest
Michael There are many e-mails I receive which I don't wish to read .....so all I do is hit the delete button. I don't request that the senders mail be eliminated. I either grin and bear it or delete it. Richard In a message dated 9/5/2009 11:38:21 P.M. I have no problem with the existence of his magazine but would appreciate if it was separate from the discussion group. I do not remember always getting the magazine links. I can certainly understand the issue of focus and appreciate Attilio's desire to publish articles. Maybe we should put a links section to the many journals, especially those with free access, on the groups page. That way the group can share these many treasures with those interested. Michael W. My point is that a recent post was basically listing each and every article, with link, and it was appearing to be excessive. I have read the argument about reducing excessive bandwidth on emails, and think this might be a good place to start. I have enjoyed some of the posts on this group but do not like being marketed to in yet another group. I would hope that as professionals we could keep that at a minimum. I will delete posts as usual but it is nice when we can focus upon things related to our profession. Have you considered what might happen if others wanted to sell items on this group and how quickly it could change our focus? Michael W. Guest guest
Richard, I understand and was just interested in seeing improvements as the recent was attached to the online journal links email and can see where this might ruffle some feathers. I thought it might reduce the feeling of being marketed to and allow the tcm group to be more of a professional presence by placing the links on the page. Thanks for your suggestion, I also find that I must delete lots of emails. Michael W.
