Guest guest
Richard, The posts link to the online magazine, which has a lot of marketing of seminars, needles, books for sale, etc. I guess, to me, that is marketing. One link to another to purchase. It is actually very savvy as far as marketing goes. I have no problem with the existence of his magazine but would appreciate if it was separate from the discussion group. I do not remember always getting the magazine links. I can certainly understand the issue of focus and appreciate Attilio's desire to publish articles. Maybe we should put a links section to the many journals, especially those with free access, on the groups page. That way the group can share these many treasures with those interested. Michael W. As far as memory serves the past posts for this same TCM Journal were no different than the current one in that they always linked all of the articles. Lastly......I personally and professionally feel that these articles as linked within the TCM Journal e-mail posting is in fact an on point focus that I wish we had more of versus some other postings.. My point is that a recent post was basically listing each and every article, with link, and it was appearing to be excessive. I have read the argument about reducing excessive bandwidth on emails, and think this might be a good place to start. I do not know if this is a sign of things to come and do not remember past posts of the journal being this busy. I have enjoyed some of the posts on this group but do not like being marketed to in yet another group. I would hope that as professionals we could keep that at a minimum. I will delete posts as usual but it is nice when we can focus upon things related to our profession. Have you considered what might happen if others wanted to sell items on this group and how quickly it could change our focus? Michael W. Guest guest
All the links are in one post. I like that, it's like a table of content of all the articles. Guest guest
I would like to ask for this thread to be put to rest. I personally (as the current list owner) enjoy the articles. Attilio was also the founder of our group. Given that we practice a medicine which honours a dynastic model, I also ask that the membership show the appropriate respect to our founder who publishes the monthly journal in discussion. Thank you, Mark Milotay
