Guest guest
I haven't gotten any patients from American Specialty Health, as there are few health plans in Texas that include ASH acu coverage. However, through ASH you can become a discounted provider in their affinity program. This is a program with various discounted health services that the insurance doesn't cover . There's no paperwork like traditional health insurance - the discounted rate is between you and the patient. (You need to give a 20% discount or they won't list you). I have gotten many patients through BC/BS and Aetna affinity programs, as I'm listed on the website. The majority of them have been long-term patients, so it's been well worth it for me. Guest guest
I concur that ASH is the worst insurance to deal with.
