Is there any reason you mention Yoda, maybe connected to therapy…

Hi all - I just reread Julian Scott's chapter on immunization, from his book,

Acupuncture in the Treatment of Children. He does a nice job presenting on the

topic in a calm, non-emotional way. He gives a clear description of vaccines and

how they work (allopathic view), and states that most vaccinations are for

diseases that are not that prevalent in the developed countries, and some

diseases are actually beneficial in that they strengthen the immune system.

 

Essentially he says that, while he and his colleagues are against immunization,

he wants parents to understand the enormous pressure they'll be under if they

choose not to vaccinate, and he wants practitioners to think about this: if you

advise against vaccination, are you available (or are there other alternative

practitioners available) to treat the child should s/he become ill?
