Dear John,

you are right.

Every day a bit more I think that when the illness began to lay a trap for the

mankind, the fire have been already discovered and widely used, the harmony lost

and the blindness settled in, therefore with rare wise exceptions, nobody were

able to see the channels any more.

PC-6 is the point that with SP4 opens the chongmai, we may trust it is so, the

experience of hundreds of ancient and modern doctors tell us yes it is so, but

(almost) noboby can say: " when I insert the needles in Neiguan and Gongsun I see

the chongmai channel opens. "

Ciao,

Stefano

Hi Steve,

Thank you for your interest and I would like to take this opportunity to explain

a bit. I was told that Pacific College of , San Diego is one of

the top-ranked tcm colleges in states which offers this subject as elective. For

those who may not be familiar with the book of Jin Gui, here is a brief

introduction.

The book was written about 1800 years ago, with 252 formulas and 43

miscellaneous diseases discussed. It is regarded as ¡¥the ancestor of all

formulations¡¦ because not only its formulas are effective, it also provides

theoretical foundations for CM profession.

The original text is extremely brief and ambiguous so lots of analysis and

commentary are provided.

I have chosen the national textbook of Jin Gui for graduate students in China as

blueprint and add a few user-friendly features and guidelines such as charts,

case studies etc. It can be used as a textbook or handbook for clinical

references or self-study materials. The experienced native-English staff at the

publishing house makes sure it meets the high standard requirement of English

readership. All inquires please ask the publisher, pmph.

The talk on Jin Gui will focus on the introduction of the book as well as how to

use it to raise one¡¦s clinical efficacy. Thanks Hugo for his efficiency to

organize under such short notice. Small class size is ideal as lots of

interactions are expected. I would also like to introduce a condense

apprenticeship program to train tcm professional who is capable to treat

diseases. Interested parties are also welcome to join us. Please contact Hugo

for details.

Introduction of the speaker

zhong-jing) studies.

Regards,
