Guest guest
Yes, I agree, there are definitely some vaccines that do wear off. The boosters are evidence of that, but even they don't last forever (eg, chicken pox), nor do most of them provide 100% immunity. I doubt there's really dispute over those points even in the western medical community, when you get down to the fine print...so many claims are not based on the actual data. And not nearly enough is known about many (most) of them, since many have yet to stand the full test of time. How old is the pertussis vaccine. Some do seem to " work " better than others, and I'm not sure why. Perhaps it is about strain variability and ability to mutate (eg, the influenza virus). Thanks for the tip about Drossera! I have a 2 1/2 year old unvaccinated son, and I'm not looking forward to pertussis. I'm not sure if he will end up getting it or not, but I'd like to be prepared. Do you have favorite formulas for pertussis? Obviously pertussis is not a Chinese medical diagnosis, but I would think the presentation would be fairly consistent considering the unique cough (is there a term for that type of cough in CM?). I order herbs as- needed, so I can't whip a prescription together. So I like to keep on hand formulas for emergency situations. Thanks- Fiamma Fiamma Sita Aaron, L.Ac., C.A., Dipl. O.M.
