Guest guest
Hi All, See http://tinyurl.com/clrho6 for a detailed review of Fluorine toxicity in humans: Kenji Akiniwa. RE-EXAMINATION OF ACUTE TOXICITY OF FLUORIDE - Research Review. Fluoride Vol. 30 No. 2 89-104 1997. Tokyo, Japan. Dr Akiniwa puts circa 0.1mg F / kg bodyweight / day, or 8mg F / day for an adult as a toxic dose (chronic toxicity). The CLD (Certainly Lethal Dose - acute toxicity and death in 100% of cases) is circa 32-64mg F for adults. By that reckoning, 10-20 Prozac tablets at one time could be lethal. Because mean dietary Ca intakes, and bodyweight, are lower in Japan than in USA, the Japanese population would be more at risk from 8mg F / day than heavier US citizens who ingest the same 8mg F but a higher calcium intake. Dr Akiniwa concludes: Fluoride mouth rinsing is considered a drug treatment that should be strictly controlled. Evaluation of chronic fluoride intoxication should be reviewed, and a new assessment of the toxic dose of fluoride based on scientific data is urgently needed.
