Anyone encounter a microsystem that includes the uvula? Woke up this morning

with a significantly enlarged uvula, twice its normal size and I don't ever

remember an event like this in the previous 50 years. It seemed dry, sticking

to other local tissues inc. back of tongue. Difficulty swallowing and

expectorating. Feels like its larger than a normal marble.

wet even thin white coat on a pink unscalloped/not-swollen tongue with just a

hint of a redder tip. Right cun pulse:deep, slow; guan:slippery; chi:wnl. Left

pulses, cun:wnl; guan:wiry; chi:deep.

Presently battling some lung phlegm that developed after a nasty fall 3 weeks

ago (recovering very nicely from same), just finished a bottle of er chen wan,

and have been very recently (last 3 days) dosing with (star ring)zhi ke pi pa

chong ji. Did take a dose of (plum flower)huang lien shang ching pien last

night before bed to help clear heat (dark urine) and purge phlegm (da huang, man

jing zi, ju hua, huang lian, jing jie, dang gui, jie geng, huang qin, fanfg

feng, shi gao, chuan xiaong, gan cao). Some sporadic/concurrent use of shen

ling bai zhu pian, and 14-15 acupuncture treatments over last 3 weeks focused on

moving blood, reducing local swelling and pain (major point of impact about UB26

on left side). All of the generalized swelling is gone with only very minor

local swelling remaining at impact site. GB channel (30 and higher) still

reactive.

Looking for answers to " why? " , happy to provide more info if requested. Thanks

in advance!
