vaccinate or not

Deciding to, or not to, vaccinate, is an act of faith, either way one chooses.

There are tremendous social pressures placed on people who don't. What I have

often noticed is that whenever there is an outbreak, usually measles, the blame

goes to the unvaccinated... but wondered why the vaccinated fall ill.

I want to add a personal story to this discussion: In the late 80's, while in

acupuncture school in Santa Fe, I studied homeopathy with Dr. Robin Murphy, ND.,

and just about the time my wife was pregnant, Dr. Murphy presented an infant and

his mom (a registered nurse!) to the class, a case of infantile paralysis, for a

clinical intake and discussion. After the intake, he thanked the mom, she left

and he discussed the case with us. The boy was as limp as a raggedy-ann doll,

and it was due to reactions, immediately after each of three rounds of

vaccinations the child had. I will never, ever, forget that child! Dr. Murphy

used an allegory, of sort, to drive the point across about the 2-3% risk of

adverse reactions (PDR, back then) to the vaccines. He asked how many MD's

would line up, if we asked a 100 of them to line up for a game of russian

roullete with 2 or 3 bullets in a pistol... or for that matter, how many of us

would take that kind of chance? Why, then, the children?

Last thing. Another MD, also a homeopath, put forth a theory... disregarding

the chemical make up of the vaccine... that perhaps if the mode of transmission

of the vaccine mimicked nature, it wouldn't be so harmful.

How many diseases enter directly, by injection, into the blood stream, past the

body's defenses?? None! They are transmitted through the upper orifices (nose,

mouth, maybe ears?), the lower orifices (anus, urinary tract), or broken skin.

We did not vaccinate my daughter. She will enter college soon, healthy, active,

having gone to public school in Texas.

Hope that helps.

Hi. This is where this topic dropped off a couple years ago, altho it is

more lively and informed now. Something is going on here.

(some)Diseases, evil qi, microbes are transmissible, no doubt, wash your hands,

don't reuse needles. Don't be a vector.

 Sanitation,

nutrition and absence of stress is conducive to resistance. But, lets

not be blind, vaccines can sometimes work. But mandated innoculations

are too much a big brother scenario. And not sleeping with someone with

aids or herpes lessens your chance of INFECTION, depending on who and

how you are at a time.  Cleanliness in the operating room, as Listre

has shown, reduces mortality by 80%. Basic. But there is more to this.

And I'm not smart enough to figure it out.

Beliefs are fine, but how can both sides of this issue be right?

Is there a problem with the

impurities or toxins introduced with vaccines? Yes.

Is life cycle timing when they are introduced dangerous? Yes.

Are some more immune than others for either single or broad spectrum infections?

Yep.

Can vaccination protect from overwhelming infection? Yes.

 Would

vaccination in ancient china have made the Shan Han Lun obsolete? No.

When these thing germinate, touch, they change. When they change,

evolve, the vaccine has to evolve. But not so fast...

 I suspect

the truth and the help is in between. But we won't know until

everything is on the table and have a while to investigate it.

Meanwhile, we have good tools and teachers, we have to be the ones to subject

ourselves to our own medicine. See what happens
