Guest guest
Sorry, maybe that " sweet potatoes " are intented as Heliantus tuberosus, Asteraceae (syn: Topinambur, Jerusalem artichoke... ) whose flavour seems (strongly) artichoke, and the appearance is like potato (once cooked)? Good as taste, simply boiled as potatoes, called in Italy " the diabetic's potato " because of its appearance and its very low Calories intake (about 25 per 100 grams), due to the consistent percentage of Inuline (as chikory, another Asteraceae's family). It helps diabetic patients and reduces intake of Cholesterol. Maybe that those who told Kath intented this herb/plant? Many thanks and regards, . --- avast! Antivirus: In partenza messaggio pulito.
