what are your opinions about the quality of mayway herbs? i have been under

the impression that the qualitiy is questionable, not first grade. this may

be due to biases of instructors at acu college.

I have been using them for ten years or so, and have been happy with their

herbs. The are the correct species and most often they are sulfur and chlorine

free. I have purchased from many distributors, and many herb shops here in NY

Chinatown. For the most part, Mayway's herbs are better.

Although I have also heard rumors here and there, when it comes down to it,

I have always been quite impressed with Mayway's quality. I would like to

hear if anyone has any concrete problems with their equality, and if so

which company they prefer.

Also though, I don't think the US gets the top quality herbs anyway.

Kath,

I use Mayway for powdered herbs unavailable through KPC. I don't have a large

amount in stock but I appreciate being able to get things I cannot get through

KPC, and I found formulations to be effective. I've attended several seminars at

Mayway and they seem quite proud of their quality control standards, so you

could check out the details on their website. If you are looking for organic I

just received info. on a new company called Blue Dragon Herbs. If you are

willing to use tinctures KW Botanicals are top of the line, and Asia Naturals

also carries chemical free (unsprayed herbs).  Hope that helps.
