Hello All,

Does anyone have info on acupuncture as an adjunct to anesthesia? Is anyone

doing that? I know about using it for nausea/vomiting etc but is it being used

institutionally anywhere? I also want info on obtaining hospital priveleges as

an acupuncturist and getting paid as such. I am a Certified Registered Nurse

Anesthetist (CRNA) as well as a LAc and would love to put needles into some of

my asleep or sedated patients for pain relief enhancement, prevention of PONV

and calming. Would also like acupressure info re these things. Am also

interested in acupuncture priveleges in obstetrical area.

Can't seem to get clear info on combining these two areas in all aspects. Would

appreciate hearing from anyone  about this.

I can also be reached at druffo

Thanks all...............dr
