Guest guest
Hello All, Does anyone have info on acupuncture as an adjunct to anesthesia? Is anyone doing that? I know about using it for nausea/vomiting etc but is it being used institutionally anywhere? I also want info on obtaining hospital priveleges as an acupuncturist and getting paid as such. I am a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) as well as a LAc and would love to put needles into some of my asleep or sedated patients for pain relief enhancement, prevention of PONV and calming. Would also like acupressure info re these things. Am also interested in acupuncture priveleges in obstetrical area. Can't seem to get clear info on combining these two areas in all aspects. Would appreciate hearing from anyone about this. I can also be reached at druffo Thanks all...............dr Chinese Medicine Tuesday, April 7, 2009 5:56:14 PM Latest News Hi all, Acupuncture 'Probably Ineffective' In Treatment Of Hot Flushes http://www.chinesem edicinetimes. com/forum/ showthread. php?p=1391# post1391 10,000 Chinese pay homage to the Yellow Emperor http://www.chinesem edicinetimes. com/forum/ showthread. php?t=623 Piping Hot Tea Can Give You Cancer: Study http://www.chinesem edicinetimes. com/forum/ showthread. php?t=622 Deal struck to develop new TB drugs from Herbs http://www.chinesem edicinetimes. com/forum/ showthread. php?t=621 Chinese medicine for breast cancer: Sheryl Crow did, should you? http://www.chinesem edicinetimes. com/forum/ showthread. php?t=620 Herbal substance developed for cardiovascular disease http://www.chinesem edicinetimes. com/forum/ showthread. php?t=617 Regards, Attilio
