Guest guest
It depends, chai hu is good but needs to be in a formula to minimize side effects, boosting kidney yin will help through moter son cycle...Greens like wheatgrass, dandlion greens are good green spring herbs...There is an ayurvedic product called liver 52 that is really good, I think it works a bit like chai hu in tcm terms. Ling zhi, esp. wild ling zhi is great for the liver...Saffron 1/2 to 1 gram moves blood in the liver... with acupuncture you can do liver 3 or 2(reduce 2 if more fire signs like red face and headaches...) combine with l.i. 4 and some kidney yin points to treat the water...palpate liver shu if tense, needle it don't manipulate the needle just needle the tense spot, you can use moxa on the needle handle, if not tense just use moxa at liver shu with no needle...You can treat the tendons and gb system do gb34 if tight tendons, gb40 or 41 if stiff hypochondrium, gb8 threaded towards tb point above the ear for the head...If wind do liver 1(tonify)gb20(reduce), moxa bl12 or hot needle if tense...
