Guest guest
I have a six year old in otherwise good health and active that has had green stool off and on over the last 2 weeks. She will also complain of pain at her belly button. She says it hurts when I press it in (quite deeply, feeling nothing in particular) but does not pull back or complain. IT can come before eating or a bit after eating. no other complaints. Seems normal. Red tongue tip, split . No brown spots in the whites of the eyes, no noticeable worms. Any suggestions? Guest guest
Right - food dye is suspect. This post brought back memories of the days when my son & peers had birthday cake frosted with the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles theme. Hopefully you'll discover a similar reason for green poop. Guest guest
They say this has been going on for awhile, at first they thought just related to food, ands sometimes it is. But there also continues to be the pain that comes and goes. Guest guest
Hi Ed, Before anything more severe i would look at any changes in the diet (noy just food dye, but also overabundance of spinach, kale, chard etc ...or spices). Also. from having children myself, i would investigate emotional issues surrounding food, or the family situation as it pertains to meals (Wood attacking Earth, which is common in children ... green?... far fetched but why not ... or Heart/Shen issues (red tip of the tongue).) I say this because to me the fact that the onset can either before or after meals points to this child's biological clock and his consciousness of daily rythms... but more simply could be a deficiency pain. I hope he gets better soon!
