Hi Group,

I am looking to do quality check on my services/results. Does anyone

here have experience with that in their own clinic?

Do questionnaires work?

How do you determine succes rate in your clinic? By how many cures,

semi-cures, non-cures, and/or by how many comes in for preventative

treatment on a regular basis? Other parameters OTHER than income?

Thank you!

Thomas,

There are many ways to measure quality in the clinical setting. First you have

to understand what you want to know, then measure that, and then present it in

an understandable way.

We track how many we have contact with, how many of those go thru the initial

health history consult, how many of those go on to exam, first treatment,

complete our 4 treatment initial evaluation period, how many of those choose to

go on to some form of continued care (correction program, or relief program),

how many of those complete their care plans, how many continue in maintanence

care. We also track re-evaluations, patient progress, marketing effectiveness,

appointment compliance, staff tasks, etc. We keep these stats on a

week/month/year basis, and graph them for easy interpretation and comparison.

We know that a person who gets treated (first time) in our clinic is likely to

receive another 19 treatments in our clinic. In reality this works out that a

person that gets one treatment and never comes back will be balanced by someone

who completes 40 treatments. We know that just about 35% of those who go thru

consultation will choose to continue with care beyond the evaluation period

(first 4 tx).

These statistics help us manage every aspect of our operations.
