Guest guest
I have questions about treating cancer patients with cupping... because you don't want to promote angiogenesis to the site and supply more blood to the tumor... that's why tui-na is often contraindicated for cancer patients. What are the parameters for this understanding? Guest guest
Rissa, With breast cancer patients, lymphatic drainage is done by specialists trained specifically to do this. My guess is that cupping would be too harsh for this circumstance, and the throat area does not lend itself well to cupping. I would confer with a lymphatic drainage specialist before proceeding. Anyone else have any thoughts on this? Andrea Beth Traditional Oriental Medicine Happy Hours in the CALM Center 1770 E.
