Guest guest
anyone have experience with this? i have a patient who gets this from wrestling. he has gotten it drained in the past, and had minor surgery once to more permanently fix the problem. he has it again (in the ear that he didn't have surgery on), and he has a match in a week. he can't wrestle for 2 weeks after getting the surgery, so he can't do that right now. however, if he leaves it the way it is, the fluid can thicken and become permanent. i'm not sure if there's anything i can do (can i lance it?, or should i leave that to the dr?), but i'm curious if anyone has any experience w/this. thanks!
