Guest guest
You mean besides being required to ake 18-25 dollars for a visit and not being allowed to accept any higher from anyone else? Same goes for any national health plan. If we are not in it, we will do increasingly well, since we will be the only ones not being required to ration service who can actually get people well effectively and efficiently, and we will finally be given first chance! As it is, we need to make sure every patient who is on Medicare fills out and signs an " Advance Beneficiary of Noncoverage (ABN) " form, OMB form CMS-R-131 (02/08). Thsi wil keep you out of hot water regarding Medicare, most likely. Guest guest
Hi All, I am not for sure but I do think that also when you accept medicaid and medicare you can only treat one person at a time in order to bill the person for their full treatment. I am only basing this on Outpatient Rehab Therapy. I know that when a patient comes in for outpatient by law they cannot bill medicare for the full time if they are seeing more than one patient. So even then you are not making any money. But like I said the rules could be totally different for acupuncture.
